Situated on a dairy farm on the south side of the park on the bank of the Río Los Ahogados, it is a rustic and cozy family business. There is a nearby swimming pool fed by cold mineral water springs; this is good for your skin. The rooms, almost all of them share a bathroom. Electricity is on from 6:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m, candles are handed out after this time. The establishment is located 7Km to the south and 9km to the west of the Guanacaste and Rincón de la Vieja National Parks. Furthermore it is 4 Km to the south of Quebrada Grande via a dirt road. There are horse rides around the farm, to the waterfalls and the local hot springs, Santa Rosa, Rincón de la Vieja and Junquillal and, only at weekends, to the Sutton Ostrich Farm, it is the only ostrich farm in Costa Rica and is located on the western outskirts of Quebrada Grande. The tours costs between 30 US$ and 75 US$, a minimum of three people.

It is a beautiful century wooden house from the Víquez family.  The area at the base of the Orosí Volcano is spectacular. Almost two thirds of the 1.000 hectare farm is made up of primary and secondary forest where it is easy to see birds and animals. On the footpaths that are close to the Sábalo River there are howler monkeys as well as a large variety of parrots. It is possible to go on an excursion through the park and then climb up the Orosí Volcano, 7 Km to the south. Horseback Tours No 1 (monkey safari) two hours long with lunch 60 US$. Nº 2 (Orosi Volcano) 6 hours with a packed lunch 70 US$. Nº 3 (trip to Nicaragua lake) 10 hours and a packed lunch 100 US$.  Nº 4 (on a cart drawn by a tractor) 2 hours and lunch 60 US$. It has 11 rooms furnished with wood on the high floor and on the lower floor each rooms has a private electric bathroom, the bathrooms are located down a flight of stairs.  Underneath there is a beautiful wood gallery with hammocks and views of the volcano. Close to the main house there are 12 cabins with private bathrooms. It has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.  It has a restaurant with typical food and an a la carte menu. Traditional Breakfast 6 US$, continental 4 US$ and American 5 US$, lunch and dinner 11 US$.
