To get to Manuel Antonio, there are three options, by car, by bus, or by plane. It takes three hours in car, four hours by bus and by plane 35 minutes. The SANSA airline company Ph (506) 2221-9414, departs from San José 07:45 a.m, 08:50 a.m, 11:00 a.m, 12:50 p.m, 02:40 p.m and 04:25 p.m, at a price of  44 US$ one way 88 US$ round trip, flight from San José to Quepos lasts 35 minutes, the airport is 5km from Quepos. The old highway to Manuel Antonio is to the west of San José. 6 kilometers to the west of Ciudad Colón, the old road crosses over the Quitirrisí indigenous reserve, on the road you will find stalls selling traditional arts and crafts. Santiago de Puriscal is an agricultural population where there is a beautiful church. It is the last village before you arrive at Quepos. You will travel through the mountains and the valleys that are covered in coffee, sugar and banana plantations. This is a virgin area of Costa Rica. Passing by the village of La Gloria, you will begin a rapid descent, arriving at the south of Parrita and then continuing on to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The buses that leaves from Manuel Antonio to San José goes past accommodation that is located on the main road.
